Miss Piggy Will Be a Guest on Anderson March 15

Miss Piggy will be a featured guest on the Anderson tomorrow, Thursday March 15, 2012, to promote the upcoming The Muppets blu-ray release next Tuesday.  CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta will also be a guest on the show.

Vote for Your Favorite Muppet in the 2012 Muppet Madness

The 2012 Muppet Madness Tournament is presented by The Muppet Mindset, ToughPigs, and The MuppetCast (which has returned at least for the span of the Tournament).

Courtney Love Upset with The Muppets

TMZ is reporting that Courtney Love, widow of deceased Nirvana front-man Kurt Cobain, is upset that she did not give her approval for "Smells Like Teen Spirit" to be included in the recent Muppet movie.

However, Love sold half of her rights to Cobain's music to Primary Wave Music, and according to the TMZ article "not only did Primary Wave approve the use in the Muppet's movie, they got permission from the two surviving Nirvana members -- Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic."

The Muppets Will Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Next Tuesday the day of The Muppets release on Blu-Ray and DVD , the Muppets will also be receiving the long overdue star on the Holllywood Walk of Fame. Diszine.com is reporting the details of the event, including the guest who will including guest speakers The Walt Disney Studios Chairman Rich Ross, CEO of The Jim Henson Company Lisa Henson, and Actor/Writer of The Muppets Jason Segel.

"On Tuesday, March 20 at 11:30 AM, the Muppets will receive the 2,466th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the category of Motion Pictures. The star and ceremony will be located at 6834 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of the El Capitan Theatre." For more details visit Diszine.com.

Jim Henson, Kermit the Frog, Big Bird and Bernie Brillstein (longtime Henson manager) already have stars on the Holllywood Walk of Fame.
